This incredible gift will change her life as well as the life of her family. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

John’s campaign to fund an Alinker

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It’s against my nature to ever ask for help, let alone ask for it so boldly!
But today, I’m asking you to help me make someone’s dream come true.
There is an amazing new style of walker for people with mobility issues. It’s called an Alinker. Per their site: “the Alinker is a three-wheeled walking bike designed for everyone that wants to stay active, do what they love, and live life to the fullest”.
The freedom of mobility cannot be underestimated. But it does come at a cost of almost $2k (USD) that is much too steep for some people.
My mother had Multiple Sclerosis (MS) for 46 years before randomly getting cancer (she drew all the short straws in life!). She was the strongest person I ever knew, despite the unbelievable obstacles she faced on a daily basis.
Today is the three year anniversary of my mom’s passing. Last year I decided to turn this day into one of service instead of grief.
Today, the Sustainable Cooks family is crowdfunding an Alinker for Tarra, mom of two who has had MS for 23 years.
And if donating is not in the cards, could I ask for you to please share this post? My dream is for this family to wake up tomorrow morning to see that their mom has the ability to live her life as normally as possible.
Update: Tarra’s bike has been fully funded! Thank you!!!
