Meal plan for May 9th-15th

A few months ago, our pastor based his sermon on a verse that struck a chord in me to the point where I actually wrote it down.  Usually we spend church half-listening and half trying to keep the kids quiet.  Maybe it was a miracle that the heavens aligned and I could actually listen to what he was saying.  I’ll never know.  But the verse was awesome and I keep it in my phone, and I apply it to so many different aspects of my life.

Even if you are not religious in any shape or form, these words give us all a wee bit of wiggle room to not be perfect or flawless. We all just keep trying and doing our best to not screw up too badly.

This week finds us headed to California (finally!!!!) to see our friends and head to Disneyland.  I wish teleporting was a thing.  I want to be there now.

B and I mowed the lawn this weekend.  In addition to seasonal allergies, it appears I caught a wicked case of resting bitch face.

The Mother’s Day present for grandmas that took what seemed like hours!

This week for meals, we’re just having eggs, sides, and pasta since we’re only here for two days and then off to the Southland.
