a laptop on a desk with text that says 17 inspirational podcasts for food bloggers

In May 2017 I was getting ready to quit blogging. I had been at it for years and my page views were declining, I was unmotivated, and I felt stuck.

Two days before I deleted my blog, I discovered a podcast about food blogging.

One blogging podcast led to another, which led to another and pretty soon I was drinking straight from the firehose of entrepreneurial podcasts. Thanks to those podcasts, some serious investment in this site, and an incredible amount of hard work, I’m still here today. Bigger and dare I say, better.

Podcasts are amazing free resources and are available to anyone. They can go for walks with you, teach you while you’re in the car, and inform you when you’re cooking dinner. Blogging podcasts have been monumental for my growth, and today I’m going to share the 17 podcasts about blogging you must download and subscribe to today.

Prepare your brain. It’s about the explode with education, motivation, and fulfillment.

My rule is to: listen to one blogging podcast and then one “just because” podcast. If I don’t balance my listening, my brain becomes overwhelmed with business advice.

I’m such a podcast junky that I had to break my non-blogging favorites into three posts. Post 1 (Best Podcasts), Post 2 (More Great Podcasts), and Post 3 (Best Podcasts II).

The following list of podcasts about blogging are alphabetical. Ranking them would be like ranking my children; each brings something unique to the table and has their own “something special”.

  1. I *love* this post! Thank you for putting it together! I listen to food blogger pro, of course, but it will be awesome to have some others to listen to. And I need to check out your other podcast posts because I’m the same: can’t listen to too much business advice at once or i get overwhelmed.

    • You’re so welcome Nicole!

For podcasts, I like to do: blogging, murder, blogging, politics, blogging, something funny, blogging, and so on and so on.

  2. uh oh – now I’ve got a bunch more podcasts I have to listen too 🙂 I’m so glad you never quit blogging!

  3. I’m excited to add some of these to my playlist! Here is my list.

David Tennant does a Podcast With…
    Strategy Hour
    Lean the F*ck Out
    CEO Vibes
    The Life Coach School
    Women of the Military
    Run Lift Mom
    You Need a Budget
    Bad With Money

    • I have only listened to one David Tennant episode and that was with Jennifer Gardner. It was good!

You had mentioned Lean the F*ck Out a few times so I tried listening to it. I listened to three episodes and just could not get into it and I have no idea why!

Is Bad With Money still doing new episodes? I liked to it for two seasons and then it just started to sound the same – whiny.

  4. What a great list of podcasts! I’m honored to have the Chopped Podcast included on your list too! I still get comments from people about how they loved our conversation, Sarah! You are a gem…and I agree with others that I’m so glad you didn’t quit blogging. Onward and upward!

    • Talking with you during that episode was such an honor because I have learned so much from you and your guests over the years. Thanks for all the amazing work you put into the show!

  5. Thank you so much for including my podcast Sarah!  I truly appreciate it.  And now I have to listen to the ones I’ve never heard of!  Great list! 🙂
