Scattered Sundays
I had every intention of a full post for you today. But you know what they say – “man plans, God laughs”.
I forgot that my youngest kid gets sick constantly. I forgot the kids had half days all week.
And I definitely did not have developing a superficial blood clot in my wrist that makes typing painful on my post-op bingo card.
I underestimated my exhaustion at the start of the week. I underestimated the highs and lows (Tuesday is a day I shall not speak of).
I did not expect that food would turn on me and be revolting. I didn’t expect to gain 10 pounds in 18 hours from fluids and blood in my abdomen, then lose it all after the second surgery, and then lose an additional 5 pounds because food is a chore.
I truly am feeling so much better every single day. I’m also making sure that I don’t take a day of high energy and then overdo it and backslide.
For the first time in years, I am taking some real time off to rest and heal. This past Tuesday’s post was scheduled. I have a few others scheduled here and there.
I’ll be back very soon, but am taking this slowly right now.
PS, I did read all your comments and emails from last week and I appreciate them. I’ll be responding when I can.
Oh my gosh, what a rough time!! I’m glad you are taking the time you need to rest and heal and do what ya gotta. Hang in there! Praying for you today.
Glad you’re resting!! And then rest some more even if it feels like you’re ready! Hugs and health vibes your way!
Awwww bless you li’l lady… hope you will take it easy and heal on…. take it slow is the best thing and you will get better every day… R&R all the way ..

Heal. We’ll be here when you’re back.
