Scattered Sundays and No Meal Plan for April 17th – 23rd

Happy Easter friends!

Today, I’m not bringing you an actual full post, or a meal plan. It’s been a rough and long week and we’re all feeling a bit beaten down. I attended a funeral for the spouse of a friend, and my mom ended up in the hospital again due to vomiting blood. A CT scan showed her embolism procedures haven’t done anything to slow the tumor(s) growth in her liver. It is about what we expected, but news we didn’t want to hear.

So, for today, I’m taking a break and reflecting and hugging the amazing person once who forced my sister and I to wear this.

May your time today be spent with people you love, and people who feel the same about you. And fingers crossed, your day involves delicious chocolate, and other tasty foods.

  1. Sending good wishes and prayers your way.
You bring a lot of enjoyment to my day with your posts. I think that we’d be great friends if you lived down the street 🙂

  2. Sorry to hear about a hard, discouraging week. Sending internet hugs to you.

  3. Hugs and prayers for you and your family! Hoping this week will be better.

  4. Dear Sarah and family,

You are all in my prayers.

May His peace crown your days,
    Robin

  5. Sorry to hear it’s been a rough week. I have so many questions about that Easter outfit (I hope it’s an Easter outfit), I’m not even sure where to start other than to say oh my goodness your kids look like you/your sister.

    • Thanks Heather.
I believe they were Halloween costumes. Both outfits were just one piece pajamas. My mom dyed mine orange (I’m the carrot), and made a green top. I think she made the hat/ears for my sis. And yes, both boys look very much like me as babies. Bennett however is a spot on ringer for my mom as a baby. It’s freaky.

  6. Hugs to you and your mom; those costumes were awful cute. Happy Easter.

  7. Hugs to you and your family.

  8. Prayers for your friend and your family. May Easter give you a healing message.

  9. Easter goodness to you and your family.
White light coming from South Carolina to your Mom and all of you.
I know you hear it all the time…but you’re doing a wonderful thing.
    I admire you so much.
