First Time Visiting? Start Here!

When it’s Go Time

Howdy folks!  Just a head’s up that when Bennett makes his arrival, I’ll be posting it on Facebook and Instagram.  I don’t have blog access on my phone (that’s deliberate so I have to take a few deep breaths before responding if some ass clown decides to be snarky or douchey), so if you want the fastest update, make sure you are following me on either Facebook and/or Instagram.

And please don’t worry, the photos won’t be gross or make you gag or anything like that.

On a side note, I’ve gotten tons of emails from you peeps with questions about the birthing center.  So many people in the Puget Sound area are interested in birthing alternatives!  I have always planned to do a wrap post about about why we chose this instead of something more traditional, but it seems weird to do that before I actually experience the place when shit gets real.

For anyone out there who has questions, I promise I plan to address them all after the fact, but until then know it is a state licensed medical facility, inspected and regulated by the Department of Health, in a state with the strictest midwife licensing requirements in the country.

In other words, I’m not giving birth in a yurt in the woods surrounded by spirit beads and a helper monkey.  But if that’s you’re thing, then go for it.

Depends on what you want to call Troy during labor. Hope all goes well 🙂

  2. You are in my prayers for a safe healthy delivery when the time comes. After you meet that deadline, of course! God bless you and yours.

  4. You are such a hoot and missed your calling…a stand up comic is what you should be! Best of luck to you and Bennett with a fast and super-smooth birth! 🙂
