Chocolate Strawberry Bark is a simple homemade candy recipe with chocolate and freeze-dried strawberries that makes the perfect handmade holiday gift.
Fill a saucepan with an inch of water and set a double-boiler inside. Melt dark/milk chocolate over medium heat.
Once it has melted pour over a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle with half of the crushed strawberries and place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
While the dark/milk chocolate is in the freezer, clean the double boiler and add white chocolate chips.
Wait until the white chocolate is super shiny on top, and then give it a few gentle stirs.
Pour the white chocolate over the frozen milk/dark chocolate. You may need to spread it a bit with a silicone spatula.
Sprinkle with the remainder of the strawberries, and pop it back in the freezer for 30 minutes.
Store in an air-tight container in the fridge.
Do not use fresh strawberries as the juices will compromise the chocolate overtime.
