Homemade Grilled Chicken Gyros are a delicious and healthy dinner that comes together quickly. Fluffy pita bread, chicken, yogurt sauce, and feta are a match made in heaven.
At least 6 hours before serving this dish mix the ingredients for the yogurt dip, and store in the fridge.
One hour prior to the meal, slice the chicken breast into 1 inch wide strips and place in a mixing bowl. Drizzle with olive oil and mix in steak seasoning. Toss to coat, and place in the fridge.
Grill the chicken until cook through, and set on a plate for 5 minutes to rest. Slice in to bite size pieces.
To assemble gyros: microwave 1-3 pitas wrapped in a damp towel for 20 seconds. place pita flat on a plate, add chicken, hummus (optional), feta, and yogurt dip.

Yogurt will keep in the fridge for up to a week.To make this lower carb, serve the chicken, feta, and yogurt dip over mixed greens.To make this a super speedy weeknight, use leftover grilled chicken or even rotisserie chicken.
