Place the trivet/rack in the bottom of the Instant Pot.
Add water and place the eggs on the trivet as evenly as possible
1 cup water, eggs
Secure the lid and set the vent to sealing. Press manual>high pressure>5 minutes.Note: If you like jammy eggs, 2-3 minutes works great. Soft boiled would be 3-4.
When the cook time is up, do a natural release for 5 minutes and then flip the vent to venting and perform a quick release.
Carefully place eggs in a bowl full of ice water for at least 5 minutes. Peel when eggs are completely cold.

Notes
You can store peeled or unpeeled hard-boiled eggs in the fridge for up to 7 days.
The cooking time remains the same whether you are using a 3, 6, or 8-quart electric pressure cooker.
