Cauliflower gnocchi is a great gluten-free dinner option. Made popular by Trader Joe’s, this frozen gnocchi is packed with veggies and fiber.

Can I Cook Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi in the Air Fryer

Yes! When boiled, the frozen gnocchi becomes well, underwhelming. Enter: the magical air fryer. In under 15 minutes, you’re going to have perfectly crispy gnocchi that works great as an appetizer or main dish.

With just 1 tsp of olive oil, the gnocchi takes on the texture of tater tots. And everyone loves tots! You can sub in a bit of olive oil spray if needed, but I highly recommend using the full teaspoon for the best results.

What to Serve With Cauliflower Gnocchi in the Air Fryer

If you want to serve it as an appetizer, set up a few bowls with tasty dipping sauces. A few great options: Freezer Spaghetti Sauce, Whole30 Pesto, Chipotle Sauce, Healthy Ranch Dressing, or Cilantro Chimichurri.

Serving as a main dish? Toss the gnocchi with Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce (and a bunch of pecorino or Parmesan cheese – yum!) and serve alongside some Kale Chopped Salad, Air Fryer Asparagus, or Roasted Frozen Broccoli.

You can also mix it up with some veggies and chicken sausage for an air fryer version of our popular Sheet Pan Gnocchi and Veggies. Or even serve it with some Air Fryer Chicken Tenders With No Breading.

Pro Tips/Recipe Notes

  • You do not need to thaw the gnocchi prior to cooking.
  • 14 minutes gives a great crispy outer texture, but if you like your gnocchi really crispy, increase cooking time to 16-18 minutes.
  • Most air fryers that are 5 quarts or larger can accomodate two bags of gnocchi at once.
