Much like our easy go-to chicken marinade, this cilantro jalapeño sauce is simple to make and goes with protein, veggies, and it is also amazing as a dip for fresh, crusty bread.

Even though the name of this recipe is literally “cilantro lime marinade”, if you’re part of the population with the gene that makes cilantro taste like soap, I’ve got you, boo. Sub in fresh parsley for the cilantro.



Cilantro Lime Marinade

Ingredients
- 1 cup cilantro
- 1 tbsp ginger
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeño, seeded {optional}
- 1/3 cup olive or avocado oil
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 2 tbsp lime juice
Instructions
- Combine all the ingredients for the marinade in a food processor and pulse multiple times until the mixture is chopped or blended to your preference.1 cup cilantro, 1 tbsp ginger, 4 cloves garlic, 1 jalapeño, seeded, 1/3 cup olive or avocado oil, 2 tsp sesame oil, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce, 2 tbsp lime juice
- Transfer to an air-tight container and store the sauce in the fridge for 4-5 days.
