How to Store Pesto Mayonnaise
Homemade pesto is known to oxidize (brown) when exposed to air but is still safe to eat. If using homemade pesto, this recipe is generally best used soon after it is made.
If using store-bought pesto, it will keep in the fridge in an air-tight container for up to a week.
You can also freeze any leftover pesto mayonnaise if needed. I prefer to freeze it in smaller quantities so that you don’t have to defrost a bunch when you just need a bit. I love to use these small Souper Cubes for individual portions.
Pro Tips/Recipe Notes

- Not a mayo fan? Sub in equal parts sour cream or plain Greek yogurt.
- Making your own pesto and have nut allergies? Try using roasted pumpkin or sunflower seeds instead.
