This recipe has EVERYTHING! A creamy from-scratch pan sauce, tender shelf-stable gnocchi that cooks IN the sauce, and incredible flavor.

It’s such a bummer that it takes like 50 minutes to make, right? Haha, GOT YOU.

Friends, this recipe is done in 15-20 minutes. That’s it! It’s a no-fuss, one-pan dream dinner.

Meal Prep Tip

This gnocchi alfredo is lovely the next day, with one caveat. The sauce will definitely thicken up as everything sits in the fridge.

If you’re making this for meal prep, either increase the chicken stock by 1/4 cup, OR just add an extra 1/4 cup to the dish while you reheat it.

When I tested this recipe, I found that the red pepper flakes are the perfect addition to cut the richness of the alfredo sauce. Depending on your tolerance for spice, you can increase or decrease the amount and really make it your own.

Serve this gnocchi with alfredo alongside some air fryer asparagus and drizzle any extra sauce over those perfect, crispy asparagus spears.
