My daughter is getting a flat of strawberries delivered today from a local strawberry booth to make jam. I guess they aren’t considered essential? I wanted to can pickled asparagus when it was rock bottom priced but the store limited to 2 bunches. I’m afraid it will be hard to get ample amounts to preserve from my regular suppliers. We will see.
Maybe because it is related to food production they can stay open? How cool that they are delivering!
Strawberry season doesn’t start until June here. You must be in a warm area. Lucky duck. 🙂
I have heard that people are finding curbside pick up service by looking at their local farmer’s market website.
